hi admin can you please approve this post. all my posts are stucks here. please help

i need some advice to buy xmr in nz. i looked at local monero but could not find anyone selling for cash. i am hesitant to buy xmr from an exchange. i did some research and found out that people buy bitcoins from clearnet and then exchange them to xmr. i am wondering if it is the right thing to do. please help me out. any advice would be a big help. thank you
