Genetically modified poppy seeds

I like growing poppy each summer, have read about a strain of poppy that was genetically modified in China to have high morphine content for medical production of morphine that is highly regarded by Afghani heroin producers, also read about genetically modified strains that allow more harvests in a year, I haven't researched it much but does anyone know if seeds of these strains are circulating on DNMs?
