amateur buyer, pgp key?

Hi guys i need abit of help i am not tech minded but understand the basics (i think). If I plan to purely be a buyer, i wouldnt need my own pgp key right ? Also if you have any suggestions that might help me out or keep me safer with the purchasing process I would appreciate it. this little NZ community yous have going on here is pretty cool. chur

Some vendors may want all communication encrypted and this becomes important when discussing tracking numbers. So you will need your own key to receive encrypted messages.
Also if you forget your password, you'll be locked out of the account. With PGP you'll be able to get access again.

PGP seems really hard at first but its actually extremely simple once you play with it for 10 mins.

No reason not to get your own key, takes 3 seconds, then you can play around with it and it will help your understanding of how it works.

Running into this problem with a lot of customers as well. Just like this guy says ^ 

it doesnt take long to learn how to use a proper PGP tool. would be great for a guide or something was on here for newbies

I use a free application on my computer called GPG Keychain, lots of others out there too. It allows me to encrypt/decrypt any message where ever I'm typing without needing to have the app open.

Look up 'How to use PGP' on Youtube. That's probably the easiest way to learn.

Good peace of mind knowing that no one (especially police) can read your message except the person it was intended for.
