I would wager that the majority these days arrives into NZ as finished product. Think the 90 mile beach disaster but without all the fuck ups occuring on a regular schedule. Precursors have been getting more difficult to source by the sounds of things and sure cooking is the most cost effective method, but theres no lack of mark up when buying finished product in bulk. Easy 2000% if your importing bulk. What happens to the product after it arrives I think is where most of the problems start. Unless its sourced from Mexico/USA, from what I've heard and read the cartel ice is often cut at the manufacture stage and poor in quality by design. You have to remember what they pay in the USA for an 8 Ball. Its less than a Q is in NZ....
