Sorry if this is a repost but I didn't notice it elsewhere on the forum..
I was following this bill closely and it sort of just slipped my mind - checked back today, and presto, it had reached royal assent in Aug (!) - couldn't find it being reported in the media really (no surprise there) but along with the reclassification - police now have discretionary power to only prosecute users / those in possession "if it is in the public interest to do so" - some may argue that that is de-facto decriminalization ..
