Coke Vendors being greedy

Looks like there are plenty of coke vendors now on arch, if not more options that before

Doesn't look like they are selling much now there prices have nearly doubled compared to 2-3 months ago

Bit of a shame really, as everyone looses.

Time to bring back some healthy competition, wonder who is going to blink first.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

The Coke is more expensive because there isn't any about and the reason why there are more options is because we have had to try sending ourselves and vendors have cut coke to sell as sociable. Its simple supply and demand. Nobody is making more profits and none of us are enjoying having to scrape around for clean coke. We would all much rather a load of coke bricks land and we have some consistency.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

Exactly^^

The risk and effort that goes into sourcing coke at the moment is insane. You try find some locally and you'll probably get straight creatine - so just be happy that vendors are still able to supply pure coke for the holidays.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

We were blessed with super low coke prices for awhile, now its back to what it used to be like.

If you want healthy competition, have a go at importing some yourself, its virtually impossible apparently with the new scanners.

Prices of coke are generally set by a few key players outside of the web and then the DNM vendors have to make their margins from that, OR cut it with bullshit.

Also its christmas time - prices generally go up.

I love how people complain about prices. Try becoming a vendor yourself and youll quickly realize that you need to mark up prices just to make enough to buy the next batch.

Right now many great offers are available. You can get really well reviewed cocaine starting at €32 / g.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

Hi Coke vendors.

I understand it must be very hard to obtain and I appreciate the opportunity to at least have it available but it is too much in price.

I know my group of friends are just saying no to those prices of 400 - 500. Even for high salary earners its just too much.

If it was 250 - 350 (for single grams) I know we would all be buying it more often that we should and you guys would have cash flow.

It must be frustrating for vendors to have customers complain about prices with the difficulty you face, but it's just the reality of it.

As a previous buyer, I'm waiting until prices come down.

Interested in others buyers thoughts on this too.

Sorry vendors... no disrespect but these prices are just too much.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

I have to agree with this also.
I understand like said above that it can't be easy importing, especially around this time of the year.
It's not that we all just want a bargain and want to screw over the vendors working seamlessly to make sure it's snowing this Xmas season.
I just believe that in this day and age in NZ in particular it's hard for i would say 90% of buyers on here to fork up these prices, bills have risen, rents have risen and of course the supermarket bills.
I know these factors are out of any of our control, but what we do have control over is if we just wait till prices come down then we can purchase from here.
It is a shit situation indeed for everyone involved.
Personally i don't mind paying $250-$350 for a single gram, it's the 3.5g and above that i think should be more rewarding for the buyer. That is just my opinion anyway. In all trades that's usually how it works, you get rewarded for buying bulk because the vendor offloads stuff quicker and the consumer puts money in yah pocket!

I hope this doesn't cause a stir up also i don't mean any of this in a bad way, just wanted to put another point of view up for some transparency.

Thank you Everyone!

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

I agree totally with what StarBeing has said

I will admit the title of the thread was probably a big harsh or misguided.

But i think Star Being sums it up pretty well and also eshayyys comments...

Is it not better to turn product over faster, to increase cash flow, or sit on product that is maybe not selling as fast.

Surely the price of a brick has not doubled in price, however i do understand that supply is an issue, so that will increase the price.

350 is probably the sweet spot, any cheaper and its a blessing. After you inccur fees of getting money from through currency exchanges, crypto exchanges etc, your $350 gram is actually still costing you $400 including shipping.

So a gram at say 450 the real cost is around $510-520 which its really hard to justify...

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

Everyone complaining about the price increase are practically assuming vendors are just doing it for no reason other than greed.

The country was previously being flooded with high purity bricks, hence why the prices were so low.
Customs have recently stepped up their security and as a result it's become increasingly difficult to even land small amounts (let alone bulk)

No one is forcing you to buy it, the only way you'll see those prices again is if some large shipments make it through.

If you have that much of an issue with the price then try get it in yourself instead of complaining about it online.
I promise not a single vendor is going to care that you're not happy with the prices.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

Hey xo - Not so much complaining but expressing my thoughts on it. I think we all value freedom of expression here. Good vendors actually do care what their customers think and would probably at least want to know how we are feeling. Yes, you are absolutely correct... my choice not to purchase at those prices but I can tell you I would be back in the market at $350 per /g. I think $250 would be a steal and probably not realistic to be fair.

And to reiterate, in no way am I disrespecting the risk and hard work the vendors put in. I have much admiration for them actually. And I am not assuming vendors are doing it for greed. I totally get it's a business. Just saying my 2 cents and it looks like there at least a few others that agree with me somewhat.

Took the words right out of my mouth, my exact thoughts also. Just thought to have a friendly discussion on a forum. No malice or anything intended.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

Ok ill step in for my 2 cents to clear all this up at least XO gets it.

Popgoesthebiscuit. No your correct prices of bricks havent doubled they have tripled in NZ, Were around 100k now pushing 300k

Its amazing to think that the standard AU/NZ brick price has sat steady for years and years at 200-220.

Surely no one believed NZ coke price would stay at half the cost of Australia. The reason prices dropped so much it was absolutely flooded you almost couldnt give bricks away and the overseas players wanted their investment back.

Yes prices right now are expensive . But trust me we are not making anymore money . Its almost not worth selling with these headaches unless you can afford bricks but i bet no vendors are investing at this currently.

So like myself we are paying extrodinary amounts for Ounces to keep the community happy. Which some people seem to have the wrong asumption about.

Believe me when the price settles we will be the first one to drop prices to the going rate. Which i assume will be when someone lands a decent shipment. Back to Aus Prices.

Re: Coke Vendors being greedy

Thank you BestNZgear for your 2 cents. Good to have more insight on the current situation.

Hopefully we get shipments through so prices settle at a better price for everyone and the vendors can make profit too.

Thank you vendors. I am sure everyone appreciates the opportunity to have it around.
