Leaving auckland airport to a south island destination.
Contemplating taking a couple of lsd tabs down with me. Chances of success?
Or am I just overthinking it and should just stick them in a book in my carry on?
Stick them in a book or in your wallet and you'll be good
less than 0.001% risk
assuming you put them in the hem of your jacket, or something, not sitting in a little 2cm square bag with marijuana leaves printed on it
For domestic they don't worry about drugs - I've flown with weed and mdma in my wallet/pocket unintentionally quite a few times
LSD trained dogs are hugely expensive, no one in NZ or Australia has them, and even then it's hard to sniff out a good 99.5%+ tab, so even if you are sniffed you will be fine. Never personally bought any on a plane tho, much too paranoid for that.
can i ask wat have people brought on planes domesticly. i want to bring some but unsure how to bring it. i hear auckland and wellington and dunedin all have the scanners now. does bringing a gram in your pocket trigger the sensor?
A gram of what? I was under the impression you only come under scrutiny if you were going thru the international terminal. Iv only really taken pharmaceuticals thru airports. You can always remove stuff from capsules that are prescribed to you/ vitamins and put your DOC inside them, but if they do a proper search obviously that will only get you so far. Having said that, a mate of mine brought a vape full of DMT over from Aussie without any problems, and he had a bit of MD in his pocket too! And this guy looks like the first person you'd search for drugs haha, long hair, beard and dressed like a hippy!
assuming you don't get searched for something else, LSD, blotters or liquid will not be detected. Blotters of course are much easier to conceal but I personally wouldn't be concerned about liquid either.

No, put it in a discrete place, be confident and you will be fine.
