Drops in New Zealand

Hi, Could somebody explain, why in NZ doesn't makes drops ? I am not citizen, just arriving here, but all vendors working through the postal shipping(domestic). I think it is insane, I mean dogs, scanners, detectors. Why ?

Sounds like you arrived form Russia or Brazil. NZ post is pretty safe so far, never have we heard of local drug packs getting found through dogs and scanners at the post depo. Fast moving post is vital for the economy and even more so with eccommerce becoming big. To check domestic mail would slow everything down and cost a lot, and it would waste police time chasing up on literally hundreds of drug packs flowing through the post daily. So it is better to make the packs blend in with the large amount of legit mail than to be out on the streets dropping packs off while trying to evade CCTV and street people.

NZ Postal services don't monitor domestic shipping for drugs.

They pride themselves stopping it at the border, or when it wqashes up in Auckland haha
