Briar - a P2P encrypted messaging app, routed through Tor

A lesser known app. Seems promising. There's capability for creating Private Groups, Forums, and Blogs. It's routed over the Tor network and you have the option in the settings to use a Tor bridge. All data transfered is P2P also.

Currently the only way to add contacts is to scan their QR code, which ensures you aren't catfished. The devs are working on adding a remote contact adding feature.

I don't know of any major security drawbacks. I would appreciate it if you take a look at the docs and make some critisisms here.
