This is a warning to everyone to always verify you are on the correct URL's.

There is a phishing campaign going on against Tor Market. Every new market that launches these guys are like leeches that appear, scum of the earth!

To prevent yourself being phished you can do the below:

1. Verify the PGP signed order address, this WILL fail if you are on a phishing link
2. Verify the last digits of your URL are "cgad.onion". Phishers cannot replicate the end characters, but they CAN generate the same first 6-8 characters.
3. There are anti-phishing captchas throughout the site. Please don't ignore these.

I have regrettably fallen victim to this phishing scam so be vigilant. Contacted the TOR market admin who were very responsive and they kindly refunded half of the lost amount - very kind gesture that is much appreciated.

sheesh so much drama in our community recently. fair play if this is a legit hack admins need to strengthen up their systems if true. if not and this is just a troll this is stupid. either way if its a real hack i wouldnt blame a hacker thats just what they do and systems should be pen-tested before going live or have bug bounty programs

well fuck thank god i only setup my vendor account on there and didnt start selling. i think we should just stick with the main markets for now like block ops and drughub... i know people talk shit about drug hubs UI but its been going strong this whole time through the multiple exit scams we have gone through on other markets. to me that a tiny price to pay. maybe even move the forum to dread one?

For everyone who is unaware, the account "Randy Marsh" is the guy who keeps trying to phish with Tor Market. He tried this with Onion Market, didn't get very far. Last time he tried to extort us, which was laughable, he's a little piss baby.

He also didn't hack anything, he's a phisher and looks like he phished a few people through the Tenebris forum link on the NZ Dread.

This guy wants to troll on the forum we will continue to remove his comments and posts.
