Codeine isn’t a benzodiazepine. There’s also a lot of codeine on the market if you wanted a price gauge mate.

I'm always interested in a steady supply of codeine but at no where near the current market price, if you use that as a gauge. Currently you can buy 20mg of oxy for $40 dollars. The same amount of money will get you 75mg of codiene which even an opitate naive person would barely feel.

I imagine the only people paying that much for codeine aren't aware of how much of a rip off that is and want to try something new. Just buy neurofen plus from the pharmacy, pop 5 of them and you have just paid $3 dollars instead of 40 for 75mg of codeine.

That might not be the best idea.
Nurofen plus contains ibuprofen, 200mg each from memory and the codeine is 12.8mg, one would need 6 to exceed 75mg
It is advised not to take more than 1200mg per day ibuprofen, and that is spread out over a day, not more than 400mg in one go

Ibuprofen has a bunch of side effects of it's own, some shared in common with opiates like codeine which it would probably make worse, some more serious ones which only really occur in higher than recommended doses, and in general it's not really good for the stomach
There's also paracetamol with codeine but this stuff isn't good for your liver either so you can't take more than two of them at a time

You can filter both out with a cold water extraction but there was research done that shows although it does work not all the nasty stuff gets filtered out some is left in that nasty drink

Paracetamol and ibuprofen are ok to mix so perhaps a combination of the two would reduce the harm from each enabling a higher dose of codeine, but maybe not such a good idea buying both within the same timeframe yourself personally if you don't want to look like a drug seeker.

I'd have to look at the research but from memory I think mixing the two and doing a CWE means one could safely take a dose up to 300mg don't quote me on this look it up yourself and do the math

N-acetylcysteine could reduce problems associated with paracetamol, they use it to treat overdoses, perhaps this may reduce harm from ingesting paracetamol

One could supplement this with pure codeine on top I suppose

That's how I would go about getting the job done if I really wanted to but the average person of less than mediocre intelligence and more than well filled wallets doesn't want to go to that level of effort for a nasty drink of codeine and probably thinks strong opiates are bad/ultra addictive or would probably harm themselves eating OTC pills straight unfiltered/unextracted anyway so whenever I have them they just buy their opiates from me en masse regardless of price until I have none left

I'm a free market guy Romald so if you can get people to pay those prices then more power to you. I regularly cold water extract 600mg of codeine at a time which will remove all of the paracetamol if done correctly. This is an easy process and it does not take long.

Anyway that's beside the point. The point I was making is that the price you are charging for codeine is not only over priced but insanely over priced. Just comparing that to even the price of oxy on the market you can see that. My conclusion from that is that the only people who would be willing to pay that must not know the actual value of what they are paying for.

In my opinion, the benefits of not having to CWE makes it's worth maybe 1.5 times the over the counter price because a CWE is so easy and far more effective than you alluded to if done correctly. It's certainly not worth over 10 times the price.

But like I said, more power to you. The market will decide the price in the end and I hold no ill will against anyone trying to maximize profits.
