Hey - I've been around the NZ darknet scene for over a decade now and I can tell you what I've learned from the previous 1000 times an NZ vendor behaves like this.
I don't know much about the vendor, but are they selling amphetamines or opiods? They've run out of stock for accepted orders is the important note first of all.
I think, if they are selling an addictive chemical, this is a classic case of the vendor who got too high on his own supply and realized that he's not cut out for vending. Meth vendors fall over like dominos. Addiction is the number one rate of unsuccessful vendors.
Based on their behaviour, I think this may be the case. If they do not stock any addictive drugs, then the lack of communication is still a pretty bad sign.
I think all in all if the vendor has not explained his absence by now, then that's probably not someone I want to buy illegal shit from.
A final note - professionalism matters. Meth vendors who act professionally, politely, and articulate with the way they carry themselves are very rare, but it's also a very important thing you should look for.
Because most Meth vendors are just not going to be able to vend it. It's a really hard drug to sell because it's so addictive. You can tell whether a vendor is tweaking by the way they carry themselves, and those who clearly are not are the only people I generally deal with.
